Education - Adult Offerings / Children's Offerings
Check out our "Who's Who" of the Sunday School! Children's Offerings - Sunday School Sunday School at Simpson is a year-round ministry which aims to serve the children and friends of the congregation. Based on the United Methodist curriculum, our classes are designed to provide learning and teaching experiences that enable the children and the adults develop and enhance behaviors reflecting Christian values. The programs are geared towards helping the children grow as Christian disciples with desire to serve others. Our staff of dedicated volunteers and teachers as well as our partners in ministry, the parents and guardians, have made a commitment to draw the children closer to God through Scripture lessons, worship through music and other creative endeavors as well as mission projects. Children and youth from preschool age through high school level are invited to participate every Sunday from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM. Six classes are offered during the Sundays of fall, winter and spring. During the summer months of June, July and August, the one-room curriculum is offered for all ages. Special programs and celebrations are held during special occasions as Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Promotion Sunday, Thanksgiving and Halloween. Vacation Bible School is scheduled for 5 Wednesday evenings in late July and/or August and is held simultaneously with Adult Bible Studies and Seminars. At such venues, children from the congregation, their friends and neighbors experience a wonderful time of worship and fellowship. We are truly blessed here at Simpson for we have a great Sunday School Family to which we invite anyone to join.
