Worship

As a church, we have made a covenant to become passionate in our continuing relationship with God and have come before Him in traditional and contemporary ways. We have been blessed with worship experiences that have drawn us closer to one another and more importantly, to our God. With the goal of glorifying our living God through our acts and words of worship, our team works collaboratively under the direction of our Pastor. We encourage and extend opportunities for the entire congregation and guests to become active participants in true, prayerful, meaningful and Spirit-filled worship.

Every Sunday is special at Simpson. We practice the United Methodist Church's motto for the "Igniting Ministries Campaign" which says: OPEN HEARTS, OPEN MINDS, OPEN DOORS.  We celebrate first Sundays of the month as Communion Sundays and fifth Sundays of the year as Youth-led Services. We have  Special Sundays with celebrations are done during the year to commemorate special events. As of this writing, there is a plan to hold Midweek services on Wednesday evenings with a Praise and Bible Study format.  We will have more details about this service in the future.

The Chancel Choir blesses us with wonderful music during our Traditional services.  The Praise Band will be revived soon to add flavor to our Music Ministry. Our Bell Choir performs and add special music during special celebrations.  During the summer months, the Summer Choir and special talents provide the music during worship services.

We at Simpson promise to continue doing our best to make each worship experience filled with joy, peace, hope, assurance, comfort and blessings. Wherever we are in our faith journey, together let us seek God’s will in every worship event and hope to discover the path that will guide us in becoming faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. As we continue to fulfill the GREAT COMMISSION, let us grow in our faith and ministries, looking forward to testifying to His love and always aiming to bring Him glory through our thoughts, words and deeds. As worship partners committed in prayers and other spiritual disciplines, let us ever be mindful of the heart of our worship and give praise to the One who gave, sacrificed and continues to breathe us life.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He give you peace and comfort as you seek His face and reach out for His hands in truth and love. Join us this Sunday and together let us CATCH THE SPIRIT here at Simpson!
